How to Apply
The application AND all required supporting documentation must be submitted electronically on or before April 1 for classes beginning the following August.

Step 1: Prospective students must apply for admission to Rochester Community and Technical College using the approved application process. See the RCTC Web page for information on how to apply.

Step 2: Complete the:

Note: The entire form must be completed including two recommendation letters and the essay

Step 3: Submit the following materials:

  • A copy of your RCTC Acceptance Letter
  • Official Transcripts of all high school, college and or university credits (Transcripts must include the embossed school seal and should be sent in the original, unopened envelopes.)

Step 4: Applications received by the April 1 deadline will be reviewed on a competitive basis. If you are considered for an appointment, you will be invited for a personal interview with the Program Leadership. Interview expenses incurred by the applicant are not reimbursed.

Step 5: Appointment letters will be mailed following the interview. Your reply is requested within two weeks. Your appointment to the program depends on a successful completion of a health review and background check. The following forms will be mailed to you. They will need to be completed and returned at least 3 months prior to the start of the Fall semester.

  • Verification of Student Medical Insurance
  • Occupational Health Assessment
  • Background Study
