How to Apply
The application AND all required supporting documentation must be submitted electronically on or before April 1 for classes beginning the following August.
Step 1: Prospective students must apply for admission and be accepted by Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) using the approved application process. See the RCTC Web page for information on how to apply.
Step 2: Complete the Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) online Application for Admission. After youcreate an account and/or log-in, please select Application for Admission.
Note: The entire form must be completed, including two recommendation letters and the essay.
Step 3: Submit the following materials to:

- A copy of the student’s RCTC Acceptance Letter
- Official Transcripts of all high school, college and or university credits (Transcripts must include the embossed school seal and should be sent in the original, unopened envelopes)
Step 4: Applications received by the April 1 deadline will be reviewed on a competitive basis. If a prospective student is considered for an appointment, they will be invited for a personal interview with the Program Leadership. Interview expenses incurred by the applicant are not reimbursed.
Step 5: Appointment letters with offers of admission will be mailed following the completion of all interviews. Students that are offered admission are requested to reply with their acceptance within two weeks.A student who has accepted an appointment to the CRC program must successful complete the additional admission requirements no later than 1 monthprior to the start of the Fall semester.
