Application Process
Positions
One candidate is selected each year for Mayo School of Health Sciences' Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Practice Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester on a competitive basis.
The program typically begins on July 1, but can be adjusted to the week following, if needed.
How to apply
Mayo Clinic utilizes the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application System (PhORCAS) for all pharmacy residency applications.
Applications for a Mayo Clinic pharmacy residency must contain (all documents must be uploaded to PhORCAS):
- Official transcripts from your college of pharmacy
- Curriculum vitae
- One-page letter of intent
- Three letters of recommendation from individuals you select
For letters of recommendation, you must instruct those providing a letter to complete the standardized form in PhORCAS. In addition, they must upload the typed letter.
Applications and all supporting documents are due by January 5 of the year you wish to begin a program.
All candidates must register with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Resident Matching Program, which makes all appointments. Match results are released in late March.
