Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition
Tuition for the Fellowship is $2,371.00. Mayo Clinic employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement upon successful completion of the program.

Text Books
Students are required to purchase the latest editions of the following textbooks:

• Alexander's Care of the Patient in Surgery by Margaret H. Meeker and Jane C. Rothrock, published by Mosby.
• Pocket Guide to the Operating Room by Maxine Goldman published by F. A. Davis Company

Estimated cost of these textbooks is $145. These books may be purchased through Mayo Clinic in Rochester, a 10% discount is available: 507-284-2279.

You are responsible for your living accommodations and transportation.

Stipends
Perioperative Fellowship students receive a stipend. Please inquire about the current amount.

Financial Aid
Mayo School of Health Sciences offers financial incentives for students to participate in many of its health sciences training programs. For example, tuition waivers or employment scholarships may be offered to students who commit to work for Mayo Clinic for a set time after graduation. For other programs, scholarships, grants and low-interest loans may be available for those who demonstrate financial need.

The College of Medicine Student Financial Aid Office can provide more details about financial aid or incentives offered for the Perioperative Nursing.
