Application Process

Positions
Candidates are selected each year for the four, 12-week Occupational Therapy Internship rotations on a competitive basis.

Apply
Your occupational therapy fieldwork must be arranged and approved by the academic fieldwork coordinator from your college or university.

Step 1: Contact your program's Director of Clinical Education (DCE) to arrange to participate in the MSHS Occupational Therapy Internship Program.

Step 2: Once your participation is approved by both your Director of Clinical Education and the MSHS Occupational Therapy Internship Program Director, you will receive an instructional email to begin the formal application process approximately six months prior to the start date.

Step 3: Follow and complete all steps in this application email. Approximately two months prior to the start date you will receive a packet of documents to complete from the Mayo School of Health Sciences.

• Your complete application and supporting documentation must be returned by mail in a timely manner to ensure your ability to begin this internship on the scheduled date.
• No interviews are held for internship positions.
