Application Process

Positions

One or two students from Northern Michigan University begin their 24-week program each January and July. Up to four students from the Molecular Pathology Program at Texas Tech University begin their eight-week rotation each March. Candidates are accepted each year for the Molecular Genetics Technology Program at Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) on a competitive basis.

How to apply

1. Complete the:
   • Mayo School of Health Sciences online application form.
2. Submit the following materials:
   • Transcripts
   • Two letters of recommendation
   • Immunization record
   • Goal statement/essay

Please send the required materials that are NOT completed online, plus any transcripts not sent directly to MSHS, in one envelope to:

3. The selection committee carefully reviews each application. Individuals considered for an appointment complete a personal or telephone-video interview.
