Associate degree track
Students pursuing the associate degree track must demonstrate college readiness and placement by showing adequate ACT scores or by completing the Accuplacer assessment at Rochester Community and Technical College.
Students must have academic skills that allow them to enroll in BIOL 1217, CHEM 1117 and ENGL 1117. We recommend that students submit both ACT scores and Accuplacer results with their application.
Students may be eligible for the certificate track if they have successfully completed an associate or bachelor's degree before the start of the program. Certificate students are required to complete all the prerequisite course work to be eligible for admission.
Students pursuing the certificate track must have completed a college-level anatomy and physiology course within the last five years. If it has been more than five years since the course was completed, the applicant must enroll in and complete BIOL 1217 for the first semester and BIOL 1218 during the second semester at Rochester Community and Technical College.
