The Mayo Clinic Echocardiography Laboratory in Jacksonville, Fla., offers a six-week Echocardiography Internship to students who are enrolled at Santa Fe College. Students can elect to complete a portion of their clinical training at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Mayo's large, diverse patient population presents a broad range of cardiac cases.

The Mayo School of Health Sciences Echocardiography Internship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville requires that you be a participant at an affiliated institution.
The Mayo Clinic Echocardiography Laboratory features state-of-the-art diagnostic, therapeutic, educational and research facilities. Eight full-feature scanning stations are located in the Davis Building, with more at Mayo Clinic Hospital.
Approximately 15 cardiac sonographers practice at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, performing more than 60 echocardiographic procedures each day. The lab is also active in clinical research and education.
The Mayo School of Health Sciences Echocardiography Internship is a full-time (40 hours a week) program. Your learning schedule will include eight-hour days, five days a week.
