Application Process
Positions
Up to six students are accepted each year for the Cytotechnology Program at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota on a competitive basis. The program begins in July.
How to Apply
Your application and all supporting documentation must be received before March 1 of the program year. The application cycle generally opens in mid-November.
Step 1
Complete the online: Application for Admission.
After you sign-in to the Apply Yourself tool, please select Application for Admission
Step 2
Submit the following materials:
- Transcripts
- Letters of recommendation
- Personal essay
Please send the required materials that are not completed online, as well as any transcripts not sent directly to MSHS, in one envelope to:

Step 3
The selection committee carefully reviews each application. Individuals considered for an appointment are invited to Rochester for an in-person interview.
Step 4
Appointment letters are mailed in early April. Your reply is expected within fourteen days.
