To apply to the Mayo School of Health Sciences Athletic Training Summer Internship, you must be enrolled in a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education-accredited Bachelor of Science program or entry-level master's program offering a recognized athletic training curriculum and have completed one year of your institution's program.
You must have completed basic athletic training, anatomy and human physiology courses, and hold a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. You must also hold current first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation cards. Additionally, it is highly recommended that you be in the process of completing or have completed all evaluation techniques classes (for example, upper and lower extremities).
U.S. citizenship or permanent immigrant status is required for admission.
