Transportation and Parking
Parking is available for students in Park & Ride shuttle lots. Information about these routes can be found on the City of Rochester-Public Works Web site and are discussed in detail during student orientation.
Rochester offers a reliable affordable bus system with regular stops on the Mayo Clinic downtown campus and Saint Marys Hospital. Mayo also operates an inter-campus shuttle system that provides transportation for staff and students between the Mayo Clinic downtown, Saint Marys Hospital campus and the Mayo parking lots.
While many students live within walking distance of the campus, students who commute may need a car when on evening clinical rotations. Car pooling opportunities with other students are also available.
