Rochester is located 10 miles north of Interstate 90 and about 50 miles east of Interstate 35. U.S. Highway 52, a four-lane highway, connects Rochester to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, which are approximately 90 miles to the northwest. U.S. Highways 14 and 63 also intersect the city.
