A hallmark of graduate medical education excellence is the breadth
and depth of information and experience you receive from the faculty
and the visiting experts to whom you are exposed.
Many prominent professors and health sciences leaders visit Mayo
Clinic each year to lecture on their areas of medical, scientific
and administrative expertise. Every week, you can hear presentations
by five to 10 visiting lecturers who are leaders in their fields.
Numerous departmental conferences and medical grand rounds are conducted
weekly.
As a resident or fellow of Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education,
you are encouraged to attend all of the conferences, Grand Rounds,
lectures and seminars prepared for learners and consulting staff.
