Positions
There are five positions available in the Transitional Year Residency Program at Mayo Clinic in Arizona each year on a competitive basis. Three of these positions are designated to the Neurology Residency at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Two positions are designated to the Dermatology Residency at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.

How to Apply
You may apply one of two ways, depending upon your choice of categorical program. The Transitional Year Residency Program supports the PGY-1 year requirement for the Dermatology and Neurology residency programs at Mayo Clinic Arizona. There is no separate application process for the Transitional Year program. Please consult the Dermatology or Neurology webpages for application instructions and deadlines.

Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic in Arizona for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. At that time, you will meet with current residents and participate in selected conferences. Interviews are conducted between November 1 and January 15 of each year prior to the match date.
