Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have completed a general surgery residency program at an accredited institution.

Highly competitive applicants have one or two years of previous research, have a defined track record in terms of previous publications, and fully intend to pursue an academic practice after their fellowship.This is the goal of the program and candidates are screened for this type of future career.
