Family Medicine p hysicians at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville provide comprehensive medical evaluations and primary care for Jacksonville area patients of all ages. The Mayo Primary Care Centers include onsite laboratory and X-ray facilities. Patients are either referred by a physician or self-referred to the Sports Medicine Clinic. Most of the patients evaluated have musculoskeletal disorders, but some will be evaluated for medical issues that affect athletic participation. Most of the physicians who practice in the Department of Family Medicine in Jacksonville participate in the education of residents.

Visiting Professors
Many prominent professors visit Mayo Clinic each year. They present their work at noon and/or morning lectures and participate in hospital rounds. You are encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
