There are two positions available in the Abdominal Transplant Surgery Fellowship each academic year on a competitive basis.
How to apply
You must apply through ApplyYourself, a third-party application service. National Resident Matching Program matching is used.
Applications for each academic year, which begins at the end of June, should be completed by Feb. 1.
To apply to the program, visit the ApplyYourself website. All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
In addition to the three letters of recommendation required as part of the standard application materials, you are encouraged to submit one or more additional letters of recommendation from previous residency or fellowship program directors.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are typically conducted in April and May each year.
Note: You may apply to only one categorical residency or fellowship program. However, you may apply to the same categorical residency or fellowship program at more than one Mayo Clinic campus. For example, you may apply to the Abdominal Transplant Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, and to the same fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campuses in Jacksonville, Florida, and Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona.
