Qualified applicants must be eligible to graduate from medical school and pass Step 1 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) board exams before enrolling in the Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency at Mayo Clinic.
Applicants to the Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency must have received an M.D. or D.O. degree from an institution accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or American Osteopathic Association. Graduates of medical schools from countries other than the U.S. or Canada must present evidence of final certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Medical students in their fourth year of school may select this residency through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
