Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency (Minnesota)
Program description
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., offers three positions each year in the Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency. Qualified residents match directly from medical school into this six-year plastic surgery training program. All six years are under the direction of the plastic surgery program director.
Mayo's high faculty-to-resident ratio, large patient population, and state-of-the-art diagnostic, therapeutic and research facilities combine to create a truly integrated educational experience. The "Mayo way" of graduate medical education ensures you will have the finest teaching and the broadest patient care experience possible during a busy, hands-on residency program.
Certification
When you successfully complete the Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency, you will be eligible to take the written examination offered by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Program history
The Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency was established in 2013. Its first cohort of residents will begin in July 2014.
