Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship (Arizona)
Please review the overview description for all Advanced Radiology Fellowships at Mayo Clinic's campus in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona.
The one-year Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Arizona has a broad, in-depth curriculum that covers all fundamentals of musculoskeletal imaging. The program is designed to provide fellows with clinical and academic subspecialty training while they work closely with experts in the imaging and interventional aspects of musculoskeletal radiology.
Becoming a proficient musculoskeletal radiologist requires a more detailed knowledge of anatomy, disease processes, pathophysiology and imaging techniques than most radiologists are able to obtain in four years of general residency training.
The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship teaches radiologists how to plan, perform and interpret studies and procedures at a subspecialty level, preparing them to bring musculoskeletal imaging expertise to either an academic or subspecialized private practice.
The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Arizona began in 2002.
