There is one position available on a competitive basis each year in the PM&R Sports Medicine Fellowship.
How to apply
You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for Fellowship Applicants.
The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Aug. 31, 2016, for the 2017-2018 academic year, which begins July 1, 2017. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
To apply to the program, visit the ERAS for Fellowship Applicants website. All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
This fellowship also requires that you submit a letter from your residency program director describing your residency performance. Include this with your online application.
- Appointments are made through the Primary Care Sports Medicine Match, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Specialties Matching Service. All candidates must register through the Specialties Matching Service after submitting an application through ERAS.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between September and November each year.
