Welcome to our Pulmonary Pathology Fellowship website! We hope this website will be informative, but please feel free to email me with any questions.
We have been training pulmonary pathology fellows as part of our Pulmonary Pathology Fellowship since 1996. We were accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in 2005. Since then, we have had two site visits with continued accreditation and no citations.
The mission of our fellowship is to train pathologists to become experts in understanding and diagnosing routine, complex and esoteric pathologic specimens from the lung, pleura and mediastinum; become consultants to other pathologists on these cases; and advance the science of pulmonary pathology through clinical and transitional research.
While at Mayo Clinic, you will be exposed to a large clinical practice, many research and teaching opportunities, and a large faculty dedicated to your educational success. We have trained many successful pulmonary pathologists and wish to provide the necessary experience for your specific career goals.
