Application Process

Positions

One position is available in the Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery Fellowship beginning in July of each odd calendar year.

A fellowship position will not be offered in July 2014; therefore, applications are not currently being accepted.

Appointments are made through the Ophthalmology Subspecialty Match Program, sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program Specialty Matching Services. Matches are usually announced in April.

Applications for each academic year should be completed by December 31, two calendar years preceding the program start date (approximately 18 months in advance). The academic year begins in early July.

Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between January and February of each year prior to the match date.
