There is one position available on a competitive basis each year in the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida.
How to apply
You must apply through the AAGL, which forwards applications to Mayo Clinic as they are received.
Applications for each academic year, which begins in July, should be submitted to the AAGL in accordance with their application timeline.
- To apply to the program, visit the AAGL website and complete their online application. In addition to the standard application materials required by the AAGL, Mayo's program requires that you submit three letters of recommendation, including one from your residency program director if you are currently in a residency or have completed a residency in the last four to five years.
- Appointments are made through the Obstetrics/Gynecology Match, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Specialties Matching Service. All candidates must register through the Specialties Matching Service after submitting an application through the AAGL.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted in July and August during the year before the program start year.
