Application Process

Positions

Two positions are available in Mayo Clinic's Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship each year on a competitive basis. The fellowship positions begin on July 1 each year.

How to apply

You must apply through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for Fellowship Applicants.

For the fellowship positions starting on July 1, 2016, candidates may begin using ERAS Fellowships beginning Nov. 15, 2014. The Mayo Clinic Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship application deadline is April 1, 2015.

Complete applications will be reviewed as they are received.

  1. To apply to the program, visit the ERAS for Fellowship Applicants website. All applications must include the ERAS Common Application Form, where you describe your activities with professional societies, publications, and any other relevant information about your education or experience. Any information you would put on your curriculum vitae should be included. See the MyERAS Fellowship User Guide.

All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs also must include these standard application materials. In addition, this fellowship requires that:

    • One of your three letters of recommendation is from your residency program director.
    • You submit Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) examination scores. Send a copy of your exam score reports via U.S. mail or email to the address below to be added to your ERAS fellowship application locally (not accepted by ERAS for scanning). Include score reports from PGY 1-3 if you are still in residency and PGY 1-4 if you have completed residency training.
