Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship (Minnesota)
Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, offers a three-year Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship for physicians who are interested in a career as a gynecologic oncologist, including academic and clinical careers.
Our program offers you the opportunity to acquire the factual knowledge and the medical and surgical skills needed to identify, evaluate and treat gynecologic oncology problems. You will be able to apply this training to both clinical and investigative practices.
We utilize the mentor-preceptor model of training, which emphasizes one-on-one training with dedicated and nationally recognized mentors. Trainees participate in translational and clinical research guided by experienced mentors to best prepare them broadly for their future careers.
The Mayo Clinic Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship began at Mayo Clinic in Rochester in 1975. Since that time, more than 40 fellows have completed their training in the program. The program accepts two candidates each year.
