Department and Faculty

The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic is a highly integrated, collaborative department of over 80 adult and pediatric neurologists who specialize in the research, diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases affecting the nervous system.

The Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program faculty is comprised of Mayo Clinic Neurology Department members, who are committed to patient care, education and research in their daily practices. You will have direct access to these individuals throughout your training.

The clinical, education and research programs at Mayo Clinic thrive on their multidisciplinary nature. As a cerebrovascular fellow, in addition to Neurology staff members, you also will have the opportunity to work with Mayo Clinic neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians and other health-care providers expert in the management of cerebrovascular disorders.

Each of the more than 80 neurology department faculty members belongs to a group of neurologic subspecialists, who supply unique clinical and research services to patients and colleagues. These subspecialty groups, including those in the Division of Cerebrovascular Diseases cross geographical boundaries with staff consultants at Mayo Clinic's practices in Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., and Scottsdale, Ariz.

Program Director

Your program director and colleagues in the Division of Cerebrovascular Disease will provide you with comprehensive educational advice and personal support throughout your training program. Your program director will also serve as a contact point, introducing you and your family to Rochester and the Mayo Clinic system.
