Department and Faculty
The Division of Neurology at Nemours is composed of four M.D.s and two Ph.Ds, with additional faculty being recruited. All Nemours faculty hold academic appointments in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and actively interact and collaborate with their colleagues at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Each faculty member is committed to patient care, education research and inquiry in their daily practice. All faculty actively participate in resident training. In addition, child neurology residents have the opportunity to work with more than100 other Pediatric faculty at Nemours and Wolfson Children's Hospital, as well as the faculty at Mayo Clinic.
The Adult Neurology Residency Program faculty at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville is comprised of specialists, who are committed to patient care, education and research in their daily practices. Many of our faculty have published and lectured extensively and are well regarded in their field. You will have direct access to these individuals throughout your training.
Each of the eighteen neurology department faculty members belongs to a group of neurological subspecialists, who supply unique clinical and research services to patients and colleagues. These subspecialty groups are integrated cross-campus with consultants at Mayo's practices in Jacksonville, Rochester, Minn., and Scottsdale, Ariz.
