Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program by the time they begin their transplant hepatology fellowship. You may complete the transplant hepatology fellowship before a gastroenterology fellowship, but to fulfill UNOS training criteria for qualification as a Liver Transplant Physician a gastroenterology fellowship must be completed at some point.
