Department and Faculty

The Division of Nephrology & Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Florida consists of seven highly qualified nephrologists with decades of experience in patient care, teaching and research. Each year, our integrated team of nephrologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, dialysis nurses, patient care and dialysis technicians, renal dietitians, and social workers provide care for thousands of patients with a variety of kidney diseases.

Faculty

Mayo Clinic's faculty members are committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge, in addition to providing outstanding care to patients in their clinical practice. Many of our faculty have published and lectured extensively and are highly regarded in their field. All of the faculty members at Mayo Clinic in Florida will be directly accessible to nephrology fellows throughout their training.

Mentors

You will be assigned a faculty mentor to review progress and career goals. Your mentor will meet with you periodically throughout the fellowship to ensure that your educational needs are being met.

Visiting professors

Many prominent professors visit Mayo Clinic each year. They present their work during morning and noon lectures. You will be encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
