Nephrology Fellowship (Florida)

Program description

The two-year Nephrology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida, provides exceptional nephrology training in all aspects of clinical nephrology practice, research and education. Each fellow's training can be customized to meet individual career goals. Fellows work closely with highly experienced and knowledgeable clinical and research faculty.

This fellowship fulfills the requirements for nephrology subspecialty training as stated by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.


You will be eligible to take the American Board of Internal Medicine subspecialty examination in nephrology upon completion of the fellowship.

Program history

The Nephrology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Florida enrolled its first fellows in July 2012. Two fellows begin this program annually, so there are four fellows active in the program at any given time.
