Application Process


There are nine positions available in the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., each year on a competitive basis.

How to apply

You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Application materials are due on July 27 of the year prior to fellowship start.

  1. To apply to the program, visit the ERAS website. All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
  2. All appointments are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Candidates must register through the NRMP website.
  3. Appointments are made directly through Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted in September and October each year prior to the match date.
