Seven positions are available in the Gastroenterology Fellowship each year on a competitive basis. This includes positions in the Clinical Scholar Track and the National Institutes of Health-Sponsored Track.
How to apply
You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The application form and all supporting documentation must be submitted by July 29, 2015. The academic year begins in July 2016.
- To apply to the program, visit the ERAS website. All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials. This fellowship requires that one of your three letters of recommendation be from your internal medicine program director.
- All appointments are made through the Medical Specialties Matching Program sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Specialties Matching Service. All candidates must register through the Specialties Matching Service.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews will be conducted on selected dates during September and October 2015.
