Two positions are available in the Gastroenterology Fellowship each year on a competitive basis.
How to apply
You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The application form and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Aug. 10 each year for the fellowship beginning in July of the following year.
- To apply to the program, visit the ERAS website. All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials. This program also requires that one of your three letters of recommendation be from your internal medicine program director.
- Appointments are made through the Medical Specialties Matching Program, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Specialties Matching Services. All candidates must register through the Specialties Matching Service.
- If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic for an interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews will be conducted during October.
