At the time of appointment to the Preventive Cardiology Fellowship, applicants must have a doctoral degree. Candidates should have an interest in pursuing a research career in cardiovascular medicine or a related clinical field. Completion of an internal medicine residency is required. A previous cardiovascular fellowship is desirable but not required.
The fellowship seeks applicants with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Women and members of underrepresented minority groups are encouraged to apply.
