Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship (Florida)
The one-year Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida, offers advanced training in:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, focusing on endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Non-credentialing exposure to other advanced techniques such as double-balloon enteroscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection and Barrett's ablation
This fellowship is intended for physicians who are planning a career in gastroenterology as an investigative and consultative therapeutic endoscopist.
This is a nonaccredited one-year program. At this time, accreditation does not exist for this variety of advanced training.
The Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship began in 2006. It is anticipated that one fellow will complete the program annually.
