    • Why Mayo?: Mayo has a fantastic medical environment with a focus on resident education and staff that is fun to work with. Opportunities at Mayo range from the best simulation in the country, multiple central line/ultrasound/suture/airway/animal/cadaver workshops, flight medicine, and a strong study abroad program. If you can dream it Mayo can make it happen. The ED is very busy with a good mix between very sick patients and trauma. Rochester is a great small city with much to offer including many beautiful parks, great food, live performances, easy access to great fly fishing, cycling, and outdoor activities.
