The Emergency Medicine Residency is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Program history

The Emergency Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., was approved in 1999. Since that time, 66 residents have completed training in the program. In 2006, the residency began matching eight residents a year.
