There are four positions available on a competitive basis each year in the Pain Medicine Fellowship.
How to apply
You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Each year, applications are accepted from Dec. 1 through May 31 for the subsequent fellowship year. The academic year begins July 1.
To apply to the program, visit the ERAS Fellowships website. All applications to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
In addition, this fellowship would like to have the following materials included in your application, but they are not required:
- Last two years of In-Training Examination scores
- Last two years of Self-Assessment Examination (SAE) summary for physical medicine and rehabilitation applicants
These items can be emailed to email@example.com.
- Appointments are made through the Anesthesiology Match, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Specialties Matching Service. All candidates must register through the Specialties Matching Service after submitting an application through ERAS.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interview sessions take place from July through September.
