Qualifications
Prior to beginning the Anesthesiology Residency, you need to complete one year of clinically based training at Mayo Clinic in Arizona in the Transitional Year Residency Program. You do not need to apply separately to the Transitional Year Program.

Appointments are confirmed in a formal written letter of appointment from Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. This letter, a copy of which you will be asked to sign and return, constitutes your formal residency appointment to Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.
