A Dean's letter is not necessary. We request three letters of recommendation from
faculty members, including your thesis advisor, who are thoroughly familiar with
your work. Each letter should include the writer’s opinion of your professional,
academic, and personal qualifications, as well as his/her opinion on your potential
for success in the field of medical physics.
In the "Required Application Materials," it indicates to
provide a copy of my Ph.D. diploma. What should I do if I have not graduated yet?
A letter from your advisor or program director will suffice until your diploma is
available. This letter should state that you will have completed the requirements
of the Ph.D. prior to the Medical Physics Fellowship start date.
What skills are required for a good clinical medical physicist?
A good medical physicist has great experimental skills, excellent communications
skills, patience, the ability to make very good decisions under pressure, and the
ability to work with a team of people with varying degrees of education and job
