Yes, we provide stipend at the national level for post grad year 1.

You do not need to pass any portion of the ABR to enter our program.

No, you do not need to provide any exam scores.

A Dean's letter is not necessary. We request three letters of recommendation from faculty members, including your thesis advisor, who are thoroughly familiar with your work. In the "Required Application Materials," it indicates to provide a copy of my Ph.D. diploma. What should I do if I have not graduated yet?

A letter from your advisor or program director will suffice until your diploma is available. This letter should state that you will have completed the requirements of the Ph.D. prior to the Medical Physics Fellowship start date.

What skills are required for a good clinical medical physicist?

A good medical physicist has great experimental skills, excellent communications skills, patience, the ability to make very good decisions under pressure, and the ability to work with a team of people with varying degrees of education and job responsibility. The best places to get training are those with CAMPEP accredited residency and fellowship programs (see CAMPEP.org).
