Program Description
The one-year Thoracic Imaging Fellowship Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester trains you in all aspects of thoracic imaging, including chest radiography, chest computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. During the program, emphasis is placed on radiography and chest computed tomography, including high-resolution CT.

Thoracic intervention, including biopsies and drainage procedures, are also an integral part of the training provided. This fellowship will prepare you for an academic subspecialty career in thoracic radiology and offers a subspecialty training option in thoracic-breast imaging.

Program History
The Thoracic Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester began in 1995. It is anticipated that one to three fellows will complete training annually in the program.
