Program Description
The one-year Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship Program at Mayo
Clinic in Jacksonville has a broad, in-depth curriculum that covers
all fundamentals of cross-sectional imaging of the abdomen and pelvis.
The program provides you with clinical and academic subspecialty
training while you work closely with experts in the imaging and
interventional aspects of cross-sectional radiology.
Training focuses on computed tomography(CT) ultrasound(US) and
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). With a high clinical volume in
all three areas, and with a large population of diagnostically challenging
patients, this fellowship offers a rich learning experience.
Throughout the year, you will assume greater responsibility and
become more independent as your knowledge base and your confidence
grow.
Program History
The Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship Program trained
its first fellow in 1994. It is anticipated that two fellows will complete
training in this program annually.
