Program Description
The one-year Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship Program at Mayo
Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., has a broad, in-depth curriculum that
covers all fundamentals of musculoskeletal imaging. The program
is designed to provide you with clinical and academic subspecialty
training while working closely with experts in the imaging and interventional
aspects of musculoskeletal radiology.
Becoming a proficient musculoskeletal radiologist requires more
detailed learning of the anatomy, disease processes, pathophysiology
and imaging techniques than most radiologists are able to experience
in their four years of general residency training.
This program teaches radiologists how to protocol, perform and
interpret studies and procedures at a subspecialty level, preparing
them to bring musculoskeletal imaging expertise to either an academic
or subspecialized private practice.
