Program Description
The Mammography/Women’s Imaging Fellowship Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. will prepare you for subspecialty practice or an academic career in breast/women imaging.

Within Radiology, the subspecialty area of breast imaging and intervention offers all screening and diagnostic tools.  Breast imaging is a busy, high volume practice with a multi-disciplinary approach to breast disease.  Fellows are supervised by staff consultants with increasing levels of independence based on experience and expertise.  Research opportunities exist for interested fellows.  Female pelvic imaging is offered through rotations in body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound and computed tomography (CT).

Program History
The Mammography/Women’s Imaging Fellowship Program officially began in July 2005 with its first fellow.  It is anticipated that in most years one fellow will complete training in this program.
