Positions
There are eight positions available in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program each year.

Apply
If you are a medical student applying to Mayo Clinic's PM&R Residency Program, work with your medical school dean's office to submit the following materials through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS):

  • Official medical school transcripts
  • Official test transcripts for all applicable examinations (USMLE, LMCC, COMLEX, NBOME, FMGEMS, FLEX or NBME)
  • A dean's letter and two or three other letters of recommendation
  • A curriculum vitae
  • A personal statement
  • A valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate (if you graduated from medical school outside of the U.S. or Canada)

You must submit you application through the ERAS by November 15 for each academic year.

If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic in Rochester for an interview with the program director and selected faculty.

Interviews are usually conducted from December through the first part of January each year.
