How to Apply
MSGME does not process printed applications to this program. To apply, you need to use the third-party application service, Apply Yourself.

In addition to the standard application materials required by MSGME, this program requires the following additional supporting materials to be submitted with your online application:

  • Letters of recommendation from your current residency program or physicians with whom you have worked

It is advantageous to have the application and interview process completed 15 months before the date you wish to begin the fellowship. The academic year begins July 1 of each year.

Appointments are made through the Pediatric Cardiology Matching Program, sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program Specialty Matching Services. All candidates must register through the SMS.

To register see: National Resident Matching Program's (NRMP) Specialty Matching Services

Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty.

Interviews are conducted in the late-fall and winter of each year prior to the match date.
