Program Description
Pediatric anesthesia fellowships are offered through Mayo Clinic
in Rochester and Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville in cooperation with
Nemours Children's Clinic. Fellowship training includes rotations
in:
- General Pediatric Surgery
- Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology
- Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units
- Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia
- Pediatric Neuroanesthesia
- Pediatric Orthopedic Anesthesia
- Pediatric Urology Anesthesia
- Pediatric Plastic Surgery Anesthesia
Additional Training
An additional year of neonatal pulmonary physiology research may
be added to this fellowship.

In addition to the standard application materials required by MSGME, this program requires the following additional supporting materials to be submitted with your online application:
- A letter from your anesthesiology residency program director
Applications for each academic year, which begins in July, should be completed by December 31.
If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic in Rochester for an interview. Interviews are usually conducted from November through January.
