Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a Minnesota State Medical License have successfully completed an approved residency in orthopedics, plastic surgery or general surgery.

In addition to the standard application materials required by MSGME, this program requires the following additional supporting materials to be submitted with your online application:

  • Letters of recommendation from your fellowship and residency program directors

Applications for each academic year should be completed by December 1 of the year preceding the program start date (approximately 8 months in advance). The academic year begins in early August.

If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic for an interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between October and December each year.
