Positions
There are two positions available in the Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery Fellowship program beginning in July of each odd calendar year. One fellow will spend the first fellowship year at Mayo Clinic, while the other fellow will spend the first fellowship year at University of Minnesota. At the conclusion of the first year, the fellows will switch institutions. Each fellow will therefore spend one year at each institution.

Appointments are made through the Ophthalmology Subspecialty Match Program, sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program Specialty Matching Services. Matches are usually announced in April.

Applications for each academic year should be completed by December 31, two calendar years preceding the program start date (approximately 18 months in advance). The academic year begins in early July.

Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between January and February of each year prior to the match date.
