Program Description
Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, offers a one-year Clinical Neurophysiology, Electroencephalography (EEG), Epilepsy Fellowship Program to prepare you to establish and supervise an epilepsy program and EEG laboratory.

During the fellowship, there is a strong emphasis on EEG of seizure disorders. You will be exposed to a variety of seizure problems, the monitoring techniques used to evaluate patients with seizure disorders – including prolonged monitoring and ambulatory monitoring – and techniques used for recording during surgery.

You will also see and interpret EEGs with a wide variety of other patterns during the EEG rotation. Training in Siscom utilization and brain mapping is also included during the EEG rotation.

The epilepsy portion of the program is designed for those who wish to acquire knowledge and skills in the comprehensive management of patients with epilepsy and its related disorders.
